Counter Strike New Revealed
After months of rumors, Valve has finally revealed Counter Strike new. It's an update to CS:GO that will bring the game onto the Source 2 engine and make some significant visual changes.
It also introduces sub-tick server updates and responsive smoke grenades. It's made many armchair gamers go crazy, but it looks like an upgrade for the average player.
Smokes
Counter Strike New has a massive update that will alter the way smokes are used in the game. The changes are being described as responsive smokes and will be a major game changer. Smokes will now expand to fill in spaces naturally and move around objects on the map. They will also respond to the lighting of the game, making their appearance more appealing and realistic. In addition to these new features, smokes will be able to interact with events in the game and will offer new tactical opportunities. For instance, bullets can cause smoke to temporarily clear sightlines and Hex grenade explosions will disperse smoke obstruction.
The most significant change in smokes is that they will be a more dynamic part of the game. Smokes in previous versions were a fixed shape and was limited in terms of how far they could be pushed and the amount of vision it blocked. The new smokes will now grow to take up the space they're in and will block more of the player's vision when they are in the area. This is a major upgrade that will make the game more exciting and will give both sides the same visibility.
Additionally smokes are now able to react to the environment as well as weaponry and lighting in the world. This will make smoke more realistic and give players to use it to gain an edge over their opponents. This will be especially useful in the chaotic games that are expected to occur on every map.
Smokes are no longer a one-way. This was a major issue in CSGO, since it allowed players to see the position of their opponent from behind the smoke. Twistzz is a well-known CS:GO professional who believes the new system will make CS2 more fair for both teams.
Other minor improvements include moving smoke particles vertically to decrease the impact of edges, and updating the spectator's smoke overlays to ensure they are in line with their camera position. The expiration time of smokes has been updated to be more in accordance with the visuals of how they fade onto the screen.
Loadouts
Players of CSGO can now customize their weapon choice before the start of every game. The updated loadout system lets players to choose the weapons that best suit their playstyle and team strategy. The new system also adds new tactical depth to the game because players must balance power and utility.
In addition to the new loadouts in addition to the new loadouts, the CS: GO update includes a number of other improvements and changes. Most importantly, the buy menu has been completely revamped. The old buy wheel has been replaced by an adjustable grid that shows all options for purchase simultaneously. The grid is comprised of five pistols as well as five "mid-tier weapons" like submachine gun, shotguns and rifles.
The new system is easy to use and will give players greater control over their weapon selection. It will let them pick the weapons that fit their playstyle and team strategy the most, as well as experiment with different combinations. They can also compare their loadouts to other players and see how they stack up.
Many players have praised the added flexibility while others have criticised it for deviating away from the fundamental premise of Counter-Strike. They also expressed concern about the impact it will have on agents' skins and loadouts specific to the map based upon visibility.
Despite these criticisms the new loadout method will be tested more extensively in the coming months. Some of these issues might be addressed in future updates. It is crucial to stay updated for more information.
Workshop Tools are also included in the update, and can be enabled via the settings menu. This lets community contributors design weapons finishes and stickers as well as maps. The update will also ban players who violate VAC rules during matches.
cs2 cases update will be released in the middle of summer. Players can now check out the complete list of new features and upgrades by visiting the official CS: GO site.
Sub-Tick Updates
The server updates the world of Counter-Strike in small intervals of time, referred to as ticks. Valve is determined to ensure that CS: GO is responsive and smooth. The smallest delay can affect the accuracy of an attack. A new video shows the biggest improvements to the game, referred to as sub tick updates.
Rather than an update of 64 ticks every millisecond, the CS: Go will now be able make use of sub-ticks (or as Valve calls them, "micro-ticks") to communicate with the server. Each of these small increments of time will be recorded by the client and transmitted to the server, which will then return the updated game state back to players. The servers will know when you shot, jumped, or peeked.
While a minute-long video is not enough to fully explain everything, the video explains that every piece of data sent by the client is accompanied by a time stamp, and that the server will gather all the information from all players in chronological order before sending it back. According to the video a CS: GO will be capable of sending twice the data than a 64-tick CS: GO.
This means that even the tick rate of the game increased to 128 Hz, the game can still handle your commands immediately. And it's not only about increasing the tick rate, also, micro-tick updates can reduce input lag and latency by ensuring that the server responds to your actions with no delays or glitches.
Valve's technical enhancements to the game are just beginning. The company is implementing dynamic smoke and particle systems to improve how smoke interacts with the environment and is updating all maps with high-resolution lighting, textures and models. All CS: GO weapons and cosmetics will also be updated with Source 2 tools and features.
Maps
The upcoming update for Counter Strike New will bring new maps to the game, as well as some old favorites that are being given facelifts. The updates are currently being tested in an unspecified beta. The first set of maps include upgrade and touchstone maps that won't see major changes to gameplay, while others have been renovated or redesigned using the latest Source 2 tools.

Among these, Overpass has been reworked to make use of the new engine's unison lighting system. The map's eerie underground has been filled with light to make it more spacious and less congested. Smoke grenades have expanded dynamically to fill spaces and interact with light.
Another map that's been reworked is Italy and has undergone major changes to texture lighting, structure and texture. The new version is more balanced as opposed to its predecessor, which was heavily CT oriented. In the near future fans can anticipate seeing classics like Aztec and Militia revamped.
These maps won't be added to the map pool for competitive play despite the fact that they are still playable. Train is the only exception since it was removed from Active Duty but will still be played in tournaments. Valve hasn't yet confirmed if the other maps removed from the pool will be reinstated.
Among the more controversial updates is one that was created by Helsingin Sanomat, Finland's national newspaper. The news organization has been a vocal critic of Russia's actions in Ukraine, and the map takes inspiration from the city devastated by war, Donetsk. The map is called de_voyna and contains numerous references to the conflict.
The developer will release a collection of Source 2 Tools for map makers in the future. This will include features such as improved lighting and character read as well as a physically based rendering system that produces realistic textures, materials and reflections. It will also make real-world objects like doors and windows, simpler to use. The update will be available sometime this summer.
